You Will Need …

 

Pale Yellow Background Fabric
 

For the Hare’s you will need …

·          Pastel Pink

·          Light Pink

·          Dark Pink

·          Light Blue

·          Dark Blue

·          Purple

·          Red

·          Green

·          Yellow

·          White

Black Embroidery Thread

 

Putting the block together …

 

Firstly you will need to decide what size you would like your blocks to be and then cut out the Background Block (don’t forget to add an additional half inch all round to the block for quarter inch seam allowance)

 

Secondly you will need to trace the Hare’s and enlarge them on a photocopier to your required size.

 

Thirdly, using the Steam a Seam 2 (as described on the back page of this newsletter) cut out each of the Hare’s separate pieces and create your appliqué blocks.

 

Lastly, you will need to blanket stitch around the edge of each section of the appliquéd design and embroider Mr March Hare’s face and whiskers.

 

It is your choice whether or not you put both Hare’s on the same block or you just use one of them per block.
