To Put The Quilt Together ...
1.

Flannel 6.5" Squares.
2. Directly on top of the Black Flannel layout your quilt top
using the 80 coloured Flannel 6.5" Squares.
3. Make sure you are happy with the colour layout before
proceeding.
4. Take R1, C1 Squares and R1, C2 Squares.
5. Place them together with Black Flannel together and
Coloured Flannel showing on the top and on the bottom.
6. Sew these Squares together with the right side up using a
3/4" seam.
7. Repeat this for the rest of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, F7, R8,
R9 and R10.
8. Once all the Rows are sewn together start sewing the
columns together.
9. Take C1 and C2.
10. Place them together with Black Flannel together and Coloured
Flannel showing on the top and on the bottom.
11. Sew these Columns together with the right side up using a
3/4" seam.
12. Add C3 in the same way.
13. Repeat for C4, C5, C6, C7 and C8.
14. When all the Columns are sewn together sew a 3/4" seam
around the edge of the quilt.
15. That is the sewing complete. Take a sharp pair of
scissors and start cutting at even intervals the 3/4" seam all around the quilt
and between the columns and rows until the whole quilt has that raggy look.
16. Remember the more you wash this quilt the raggier it will
look.
